A house move is the job MV Movers was built on. Studio flats off the Uxbridge Road, five-bedroom houses in Ealing and Hanwell, terraces with a hallway that fits nothing wider than a sofa on its side: the crew have done all of it, most weeks, since 2015.
Dave plans each move around the property rather than a price list. He asks about floors, lifts, parking and the awkward pieces, then sizes the crew and the vans to match. Two vans and a four-man squad for a family house; one van and two lads for a one-bed. It had been home to a Gp Surgery accommodating over 9,000 patients, for decades so this was not an easy job! They completed it earlier than expected and during opening hours!!!
